Delete your account
You can delete your Bestir account and all data linked to it at any time. Bestir is an app by MakeByte.
In the app
- Open Bestir and sign in.
- Go to Profile > Settings > Delete account.
- Confirm. Your account is deleted right away.
By email
Can’t open the app? Send an email from the address of your account to hello@bestir.app with the subject “Delete my account”. We confirm by email and delete the account within 30 days.
What gets deleted
- Your account: email address and display name
- Your tasks, plans, steps and templates
- Focus sessions, energy and mood check-ins
- Settings, reminders and push tokens
- Your customer record at our subscription service RevenueCat
What is kept
- Nothing that is linked to you. Anonymous usage statistics without personal identifiers cannot be traced back to you.
- Apple and Google keep your purchase history under their own rules. We never receive payment details.
How long it takes
In the app, deletion starts immediately. All personal data is removed from our systems within 30 days at the latest.
Subscription
Deleting your account does not cancel a Pro subscription. Cancel it first in your App Store or Google Play account.
