What Bestir does
Five parts, one idea: fewer decisions, easier starts.
Plan your day without a wall of tasks
Add tasks by typing, speaking or from a template. Give them a time, or let them float until there is room.
Connect your device calendar or Google Calendar to see appointments next to your tasks. Calendar events are shown in the app, not stored on our servers. Before your next appointment, Bestir gives you a heads-up so the switch is no surprise.
Now: one task, one first step, one timer
The Now screen answers “What now?” with exactly one task and its first step. Tap Start focusing and a calm timer runs. You choose the length, from 5 to 90 minutes.
Pause, reset or skip whenever you need to. A fresh start is always one tap away, and nothing gets marked as failed.
Bad days count too
Each morning you tell Bestir how you feel: All in, So-so or Tired. On So-so days your plan stops at five tasks. On Tired days you see three small ones.
When they are done, Bestir says so and suggests a break. You can keep going anyway. Whatever stays open simply waits, without red marks.
Help breaking tasks down, if you want it Pro
A big task can freeze you. With one tap the AI suggests three to five concrete steps and puts the first one on the card.
AI features stay off until you agree. We ask once, explain what is sent (the task text, to OpenAI) and you can switch it off in settings at any time. OpenAI does not use it for training. If you like, short check-ins during the day ask how it is going.
Just say it
Tap the mic and talk: “Call mom, buy batteries, answer Sam.” Bestir turns it into separate tasks.
The recording is transcribed and then discarded. We don’t keep audio. Voice input uses the same AI consent as the breakdown.
Your data stays calm too
Your account and tasks live on our own server in Germany. No ads, no selling, no tracking across apps.
